Acceptance Testing

With Acceptance Testing you can ensure that all of the users are satisfied with the build up system.

Display Acceptance Testing details by:
1. Select the View | Testing menu option.
2. Open a diagram and select the required element.
3. Now you can see all of the test scripts for that element.
4. Click on the Acceptance tab.

Option Use to

Test Specify the name of the test.

Status Click on the drop-down arrow and select the current status of the test.

Type Click on the drop-down arrow and select the type of test.

Run By Click on the drop-down arrow and select the name of the person who ran the test.

Checked By Click on the drop-down arrow and select the name of the person who checked the test run.

Last Run Click on the drop-down arrow and select the date on which the test was last run.

Description Type a description of the test. You can format the text using the Rich Text Notes toolbar at the top of the field. This text is also reflected in the Notes window, but cannot be edited there.

Input Type in the input data.

Acceptance Criteria Type the acceptance or test success conditions.

Results Type the results of the last test.

System Testing with EA

With the System Testing with Enterprise Architect ir’s to test if your systems performs its business functions in the right way.
Follow these steps to display the System Testing details:
1. Select the View | Testing menu option.
2. Open a diagram and select the required element.
3. All test scripts for that element are displayed now in the Testing window.
4. Click on the System tab.

The options of System Testing and the use of it:

Option	Use to
Test	Specify the name of the test.
Status	Click on the drop-down arrow and select the current status of the test.

Integration Testing with Enterprise Architect

EA Unit Testing

With Unit Testing it is very easy and comfortable to test Classes, Components and all other elements that a programmer has build them, within Enterprise Architect.

1. Open Testing window
2. Select View | Testing menu option
3. Open a diagram, select the required element

Now, all of the test scripts for that element are displayed in the Testing window.
Below you can see the possible options and how to use it:

An Introduction to Testing in Enterprise Architect

With Enterprise Architect you have a great support for testing, cause EA allows you to creat test-scripts agains an element in the modeling environment. EA provides integrated test procedures within the base model. For each element four test types and general searching and reporting on tests status are supported.

By using following steps you can easily access the test dialog:

Open the Test Cases docked window by selecting the View | Other Windows | Testing menu item.
Open the diagram that holds the element you want to view the test script for.
Select the element and all of the test scripts for that element will appear in the Test Cases docked window.

The Testing Workspace
The testing workspace of EA provides you a quick and practical method working with element tests. By selecting an element in a diagram or in the Project Browser, all lists of tests for that element are already loaded and ready for modification or addition.

To edit details, double click on a line item – that will bring up the testdialog. Within this mask you can also delete the test.
